Earthsuits is a cross-disciplinary project that explores wearable systems as tools for adaptation in the face of environmental, technological, and social change. It includes speculative thinking about how wearables can extend the body’s capabilities and mediate relationships between humans and shifting ecological conditions. Drawing from environmental humanities, bio-material research, and narrative design, the project re-imagines future forms of survival, care, and belonging through the lens of wearable technology.
Mycelial Vein is a speculative design project initiated from the concept of Earthsuits that explores how wearable systems can help humans adapt to a post-technological, AI-regulated world. Set in a future London reimagined as an underground ecological network, the project introduces the Earth Suit—a living garment made of fungal mycelium and slime mould that enables navigation, communication, and survival beyond digital systems. Blending narrative environments, biotechnological research, and fashion futures, the project envisions wearables as interfaces for reconnection between humans, ecosystems, and the uncertain future of the planet.
" We move through the ruins like whispers.
We are the pulse of something new.
Machines rust, but life rewrites."
